The white DS-2DCB reads 1D and 2D barcodes at POS workstations and in goods-handling workflows. The package includes the white scanner, a matching USB cable and a white stand. USB is standard; RS232 is optional with the appropriate adapter and cable. The CMOS sensor operates at 30 fps and 640 × 480 resolution, with a scanning speed of 300 scans/s. Illumination combines a visible red 617 nm LED and white LED lighting. The scanner supports 360° rotation, ±60° pitch and skew, and a minimum contrast of 30%. A buzzer and LED provide feedback, and the enclosure is rated IP52. Reading PDF417 payment slips into application fields requires scanner configuration and suitable software that assigns decoded data to the correct fields.
